HELLO and welcome tofirst steps fertility clinic
A New Approach...
Throughout the ages, infertility has been described as one year trying to conceive without the use of contraception. Many physicians will actually not refer patients to see a Toronto infertility clinic or an infertility doctor until that year has passed. I think, that in 2021 a new approach needs to be taken and that there are certain conditions and certain times when a woman should actually seek help for fertility long before that year is up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Take a look below at some of the most Frequently Asked Questions about Fertility!
Acupuncture helps by addressing problems that affect fertility. Every patient gets assessed to determine what acupuncture protocol would best support their fertility needs. Acupuncture helps to stimulate blood flow and oxygen to the reproductive organs, thereby helping enhance their function. Acupuncture also has a tremendous relaxation benefit which is so important for women undergoing fertility treatment.
On the actual day of the transfer, we usually suggest to our patients to have an acupuncture treatment for 25-30 minutes before the transfer and then have a subsequent treatment right after the transfer is complete.
Ideally, it is recommended that you start acupuncture treatment at least one to two months before the commencement of the IVF cycle and that you continue for one to two times a week until the day of the transfer.
