Augment

AUGMENT℠ has the potential to improve egg health and embryo development which are factors that contribute to IVF success.

The journey to parenthood can be long and arduous, but in some cases, even In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) alone isn't enough to see you through to a successful pregnancy.

For women whose eggs may not be strong enough to sustain fertilization, there is hope. OvaScience – a leading ... - has developed AUGMENT℠, a treatment used to improve the health of a woman's existing eggs.

AUGMENT℠ is administered as an integral part of your IVF cycle. Energy-producing mitochondria processed using the AUGMENT℠  system is combined with sperm, which are then added to the egg. The mitochondria from your egg precursor cells (EggPC℠) supplements your egg’s existing mitochondria during IVF.
