My name is Dr. Fay Weisberg, and I am a gynecologist and infertility doctor in Toronto, and the clinic director of First Steps Fertility. As an assistant professor at the University of Toronto and an active gynecologist at Sunnybrook Hospital, I have been trained to be on top of education, technology and current practices in medicine. I understand that the dream of having a family may be difficult for some people, and here at First Steps our goal is to help guide you gently through the sometimes difficult steps of getting there. To me, patient education is at the forefront of any visit, and sometimes small changes in lifestyle can make a huge difference in success. Technology changes every day, and we are so fortunate to be able to offer our patients cutting edge technology if they need it. Fertility can be overwhelming and I strive to help patients understand what and how they can use it. Every patient that I see in my office is special, and every history and needs of my patients is specific to them. I strive to provide care that is individualized for each of my patients and be available for them from the start to the finish.

I want to say something about same sex couples and singles – perhaps
First Steps fertility also helps couple who require our services for either donor sperm or donor egg.
We help organize counselling, legal help and sperm and egg banks if required.
